The Redwall Series provides a choice of long-range, volumetric sensors designed to protect sites, buildings and perimeters against intrusion. All models feature two independent detection zones - far and near - while some models feature an additional "creep zone" detection area, that monitors directly beneath the sensor for enhanced security. These independent detection zones can trigger various security measures, such as adjusting a camera to a pre-set position for visual verification or activating a voice warning to deter intruders.
External sensors are exposed to significant environmental changes that can impact performance. The Redwall SIP Series automatically adjusts its sensitivity to compensate for variations in temperature and ambient lighting, ensuring reliable detection. Sensitivity settings can also be configured separately for the near and far zones, allowing detection levels to be fine-tuned based on the severity of a potential threat.
